Every Australian council was analysed across seven lifestyle categories and matched with those that had similar lifestyle offerings to reveal which was cheapest. Education, food and drink, shops and retail, parks and recreation, healthcare, entertainment and culture, and transport and connectivity were all considered. The analysis discovered Mount Gambier offered the biggest rent savings in the country, with a 87.9 per cent match with Woollahra in Sydney’s east.
