Chris Rock’s property moves amid $60m loss

Chris Rock wants a fourth Madagascar movie, admitting he no longer has “Madagascar money” following his costly divorce settlement. The comedian, who voiced Marty the Zebra in the hit animated franchise, called it quits with his wife of 20 years, Malaak Compton-Rock, in 2016. The split reportedly wiped out up to $A60m ($US40m) of the 61-year-old’s fortune in liquid assets and real estate, including their mansion in Alpine, New Jersey. Speaking in an interview with Variety, Rock looked directly into the camera to pitch DreamWorks bosses for another sequel. “I don’t know who I’m talking to.
