Brisbane homeowners are flooding the property market in an unusual winter rush as fears grow the city’s housing downturn still has further to run. New SQM Research figures show the number of homes listed for sale across Brisbane surged 18 per cent in July alone, defying the usual seasonal slowdown and giving buyers their biggest choice of properties in months.
