The Huang family bought the home for $61.8m in 2016 from the Wang family, who’d paid $52m for the former party palace in 2013. The iconic Victorian Italianate home remains on a 2479sq m holding with boatshed and pool after the Wang’s proposed subdivision sale of its tennis court block failed to proceed following objections.
