David Barbour, the co-founder of Channel Nine’s renovation show The Block, and his partner, artist Angie Summa have sold their newly built home for a cool $6.6m.

The showstopper Mediterranean-style house on the Gold Coast is on a 915sq m block with 22m of canal frontage.

PropTrack data reveals the median house price in Mermaid Waters is $1.84m, up 7.3 per cent over 12 months.
The highest sale in Mermaid Waters is $7.7m, paid in February, 2024 for Armorel at 84 Oceanic Drive.
