But where do you find such curbside bounty? Well, a new study has revealed the SA suburbs where you’re most likely to score some free vintage furniture. Australian furniture and homewares specialist, The Furniture Trader have crunched Census data on income, home ownership, professional occupation, over-55 population and nearby second-hand and vintage furniture retail density. It used these data points to create a ranking to determine where Australia’s best quality preloved furniture had the highest chance of turning up. Not all hard rubbish is crap.
