Retired MLB Star Cole Hamels’ Former Missouri Estate Goes Up for Auction With a Major Price Cut After Foreclosure

An enormous—yet unfinished—Missouri estate that was custom-built for former MLB player Cole Hamels is set to go up for auction after it was seized by the bank when the latest owners foreclosed on the opulent dwelling.The staggering property, which features 19 bathrooms, more than 21 bathrooms, and a 10-car garage, sits on 104 acres in Branson West overlooking the North Indian Creek. Hamels and his then-wife, Heidi Strobel, put it on the market for the enormous price of $9.8 million in 2017.Now, one lucky buyer will have the opportunity to snag quite the bargain on the property, which will be sold by Target Auctions through an online sale that begins on Sept. 17.
