Meghan Markle has shared a rare sneak peek inside her $US14.65 million ($A23.37 million) California mansion during her latest Instagram video.

In the selfie-style clip, the Duchess of Sussex revealed she partnered with Billie Eilish to give some merchandise from the Grammy winner’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour to a Los Angeles-based 15-year-old teenager who lost her home in the recent wildfires.

Filmed inside the sprawling property, the former “Suits” actress can be seen walking through several rooms of her home while telling viewers: “I was just told that something arrived that I have been waiting for.”

“About two or three weeks ago, when my husband and I were in Altadena, we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes,” she explained.

“This mum had found a couple things … as I was talking to her, I turned and looked, and I saw this young woman, and I said, ‘Oh my gosh, how old are you?’ She’s 15,” Meghan went on.

The teen’s mother then told the Duchess how her daughter had lost her most prized possession in the fire: a T-shirt from a Billie Eilish concert that had been in the laundry when the flames engulfed their home.

“When they came back to see their house for the first time [after the fire], which is [when] we were meeting them, [the teenager’s mother told me] that all she’d been looking for in her home was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to,” Meghan recalled.

“She left [it] in the washing machine or the dryer. And of course now they see their home and the washing machine, the dryer are ash, they’re not there anymore.”

So, the royal vowed to help the young girl replace her lost clothing item, telling her: “I don’t know Billie Eilish, but I’m going to figure out how to get you this shirt.”

After meeting the mother and daughter, Meghan “thought of everybody that I knew” to try and figure out who might be able to help her track down a new tee for the teen.

“I made a voice note and I was like, ‘Please, can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish?’” she revealed.

Luckily, Meghan’s star-studded friendship circle came through. The Duchess revealed that former Montecito locals Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo helped her to get in touch with Eilish, who then sent over a stack of merch for the young wildfire victim.

“You guys, I don’t even know what this stuff means,” Meghan admitted as she points to the stack of clothing and products that Eilish had delivered to her.

“But it’s signed for her!” she adds, while showing off a record with Eilish’s signature written across the front.

“Huge thank you Billie Eilish. This is going to mean so much to her. And honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati, you guys helped get this over the line.”

During the video, the Duchess of Sussex offers a rare glimpse into the megamansion here and wantaway Royal Prince Harry.

THE TUDOR TREATMENT

With large windows and white walls the home offers plenty of light, perfect for the Californian climate.

The wooden beams reminds somewhat of the Tudor style of architecture, which was the final development of medieval architecture in England during the Tudor period of 1485 to 1603 and is seen in many of the Royals’ properties back home in England.

It’s an interesting counter-balance to the Spanish Mission home which looks neat and minimalist inside in the photos.

Markle concluded her video by thanking everyone “who is showing up for people in big and small ways,” adding that she was going to go and email the teen’s mother immediately to let her know what she’d secured.

“Let’s keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires,” she added in her caption.

“Thanks to everyone who made this possible but most importantly, thank you to our first responders who are the community’s real heroes.”

The Netflix star’s video comes just days after she and husband Prince Harry paid a visit to Altadena in order to help those who had been impacted by the Eaton Fire, which was one of several blazes that ripped through Los Angeles during the second week of January.

At the time, Meghan and Harry were seen distributing food and supplies to locals who had lost their homes and been displaced as a result of the blaze, while chatting with victims — including the unnamed Billie Eilish fan and her mother.

The Sussexes’ own home, which they purchased in 2020, is located outside of the evacuation zones and was not affected by the fires.

The couple had opened up their property as a refuge for their friends and family who had been forced to evacuate their homes as a result of the fires.

They also shared an official statement about the fires on their official Sussex.com website, where they offered several resources for those impacted by the fires while also urging those who are able to do so to offer sanctuary to their displaced loved ones.

“If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do. And be sure to check in with any disabled or elderly neighbours to see if they need help evacuating,” they wrote.

The pair have been living in their home since 2020, when they quit their roles as senior working royals and relocated from the UK to California.

The sprawling property boasts plenty of room for visitors courtesy of its nine bedrooms — which are complemented by 16 bathrooms.

Although Harry and Markle have gone to great lengths to keep the interiors of their home private, they have shared a few small glimpses inside the property over the years — including images and clips that were aired as part of “Harry & Meghan.”

At one point, Markle could be seen posing for a photo in the nursery, while another shot showed Harry in an office, taking calls on his laptop.

That desire for privacy has proven something of a sticking point with at least one of their Montecito neighbours, however, who spoke out recently to criticise the duo for failing to get actively involved in the community.

Speaking in a German documentary entitled “Harry: The Lost Prince,” Richard Mineards, one of the couple’s neighbours, issued a scathing assessment of Markle, claiming that she has not been an “asset” to their neighbourhood.
