Few 24-year-olds can say they have worked two jobs for years to build luxury beachside homes and then started a development management company to fund more. Adelaide resident Max Hagicostas can. While he admits it has been hard work – with only a handful of days off a year – he is well on his way to making his dream job a reality. For as long as he can remember he has wanted to design and build properties. “Ever since I was young I was always interested in property development and real estate,” said Mr Hagicostas, who recently turned 24. “I started off knowing absolutely nothing, I tried to learn it as I went.” His parents built and renovated homes while he was growing up, and he helped with DIY jobs around the house.
