Work to start at luxury Riverside Newtown development within months

An artist’s render shows a series of riverfront apartment buildings soon to be built at the Riverside residential development in Newtown. Geelong’s newest waterfront strip is coming to Newtown with the launch of the first properties in a long-awaited residential development on the Barwon River. Glengarry Development’s Riverside project will transform the former Union Woollen mill site into a vibrant precinct featuring a mix of luxury apartments and terrace-style townhouses. Architect Asher Greenwood from GKA Architects designed the plans for the 9580sq m development next door to Barwon Grange.
