Pop star Pink has laid bare her 14-year-old daughter Willow's dreams of being a Broadway performer - revealing that she moved her entire family to New York so the teenager could be one step closer to that goal.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, was joined by her daughter while hosting a talk show and opened up about her family's relocation from California to the East Coast.

“We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom - and also so Willow could study theater and experience more Broadway," Pink said.
Before relocating to New York, Pink had been living in California with her husband, Carey Hart, and their son, Jameson, 9 - however they are understood to have moved to the Big Apple early this year, according to Page Six.
In addition to Willow's ambitions, however, one insider suggested there may be another reason for Pink's move, hinting that the singer is being lined up to take over "The Kelly Clarkson Show" for good after its original host revealed that she is stepping down.
"She’s been guest-hosting and it seems she’s doing very well, and that’s the plan," the insider claimed.
While Pink has not yet commented on the reports, she has been very open about her daughter's future goals, telling People in May 2024: "She wants to do Broadway and then be a trauma surgeon.
“Yeah, she's rad. She's got a voice, man. She's a little bird."

It's currently unclear whether Pink and her spouse have purchased a home in New York or if they are testing the waters in a rental property before committing permanently to life in the Big Apple.
However they may find it tough to secure a New York dwelling that rivals their California home base: a stunning 25-acre vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley, where Pink began producing her own wine label, Two Wolves.
Records show that the singer purchased the sprawling property for $12.8m (US$8.99m) in 2013—five years before she unveiled her wine to the world.

The update on the family's move comes mere days after the singer furiously denied rumors that she and her husband of 20 years are separating as she branded the reports "fake news."
She took to Instagram to refute claims that she and Hart, who first tied the knot in 2006, had called it quits.
"So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband, I didn’t know. Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children? My 14- and 9-year-old are also unaware.

"Do you want to want to talk about my accomplishments or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise? So fake news, not true. I love you all," she said.
