Entrepreneur Emil Juresic is selling his iconic Brisbane home, ‘Hacienda’.

An Australian entrepreneur has decided to sell his entire property portfolio — including the home he lives in — because of the threat of artificial intelligence.

Emil Juresic, the founder of NGU Real Estate, has listed one of Brisbane’s most significant properties — a three-level mansion spanning 1400 sqm — with $25m price hopes.

‘Hacienda’ overlooks Indooroopilly Golf Course and features five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a six-car garage, a home office, three entertaining areas, and a wellness zone that includes a commercial gym, steam room, sauna, and cinema.

Mr Juresic said he had knocked back offers as high as $22m for the property a couple of years ago, but believed it was worth more now.

The property developer and his partner, Giselle Kramer, are reluctant to sell the property at 3/249 Harts Rd, Indooroopilly, but think now is the time.

“It is one of only three homes on the golf course, with the most amazing peaceful views and 100 per cent privacy,” Mr Juresic said.

“You’re only 4.5km from the city, yet it’s dead quiet.”

Speaking on the Australian Property Investment Podcast, the business mogul told listeners he believes AI will soon replace jobs, resulting in high unemployment, a reduction in borrowing power, and a drop in property prices.

“Over the next two weeks, every… property I have, I’m selling — including my own home,” he said.

“Somebody says; ‘Why would you do that? Because I’ll be able to buy my…own home back for half of the price in two years’ time’.”

Built in 2023, ‘Hacienda’ has everything you can think of.
