Ron and Carolyn Delezio, the parents of catastrophic burns victim Sophie Delezio, are selling the Manly home they bought after Sophie spread her wings and moved to London to study. They renovated the four-bedroom single-level home, an easy walk to the beach and are now selling with a $5m guide. The couple supported their daughter through two major car crashes, built a home from scratch in nearby Balgowlah Heights to help with her ongoing rehabilitation and became major fundraisers and activists for accident victims. The Day of Difference charity they founded aims to reduce the impact of critical injury to children plus deliver services and products that lower the incidence of children’s critical injury in the first place.
