When it comes to finding an iconic Melbourne residence, somewhere that has historic status, beautiful parklands and a proven track record seems like a good bet.
In Melbourne's inner northwest sits Moonee Valley Park, a precinct ticking all of these boxes with an iconic location on the Moonee Valley Racecourse.
Multiple stages of the precinct have already sold out, with close to 500 homes delivered and the community thriving and now, The Eveline is creating the latest opportunity for buyers wanting to get in – particularly drawing the attention of locals looking to rightsize while staying within their established community.
Positioned on the edge of the racecourse, The Eveline offers expansive views of the track and the city skyline coupled with an extensive amenity offering.
The Eveline is the latest development in the heart of the Moonee Valley Park precinct.
Reimagining a Melbourne landmark with biophilic design
The Eveline’s biophilic design is a commitment to modern living, with architecture and nature working in harmony.
Designed by renowned architecture firm Cera Stribley, and backed by trusted developer Hamton Property Group in joint venture with superannuation fund Hostplus, it is an address that zeroes in on organic form, drawing inspiration from the flowing lines of the racecourse and nearby Moonee Ponds Creek making it "very unique," according to Fergus Humphries, Hamton Sales and Marketing Director.
"The design combines curved architecture with extensive landscaping that carries across the whole building including rooftop facilities and residential amenities, which offer views over the racecourse, the city skyline, and the surrounding parklands."
Janis Fischer, Executive Director and Landscape Architect at Tract, says that utilising nature is the key to making this residential offering feel like a sanctuary.
"We aimed to design the entire Moonee Valley site as a parkland and to integrate the buildings seamlessly within it," Ms Fischer explains.
"A lot of our inspiration comes from botanical gardens and the way people move through them, so we have created these green open spaces that prioritise the pedestrian experience."
Ms Fischer points to walkways between buildings that are adorned with lush plants that will surround The Eveline.
"We're really building on the parkland theme by introducing some newer public green spaces and communal gardens around it and we're also integrating greenery into the building facades – this approach means the entire neighbourhood is defined by greenery and a strong connection to nature."
This biophilic-led vision has earnt the project Nature Based Cities accreditation: Exemplary standard, meaning it meets rigorous standards for tree canopy coverage, habitat creation, garden beds, and vertical greening.
With nature and greenery at its core, The Eveline has been recognised as a standout in biophilic design.
Choosing your view: Garden outlooks or grandstand city lights
When it comes to the homes at The Eveline, the standout feature is that every apartment comes with a view.
Some residences overlook Stonepine or Moonee Ponds, while others showcase uninterrupted racetrack vistas with the city skyline rising dramatically beyond.
"There's a combination of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments," explains Mr Humphries.
"But these are at varying sizes and price points, which means there's a real cross-section of buyers, which is what we've already seen from who is interested in the previous stages of Moonee Valley Park.”
He said The Eveline’s luxurious apartments target the downsizer market but are also proving attractive to other owner occupiers who are looking for "low maintenance living with access to green open spaces."
He adds that the interiors are high-end and thoughtfully planned with beautiful finishes, premium materials and highly rated appliances.
Each residence at The Eveline has been designed to make the most of the world-class views.
Everyday life with rooftop gardens, lap pool and co-working hub
As a lifestyle precinct, residents of The Eveline will have a wealth of amenities on their doorstep allowing them to make the most of daily life.
They can kick off the day with a swim in the 25-metre lap pool which is complemented by other wellness features like a gym, sauna and yoga space.
For those working from home, there's a co-working hub to catch up on emails or creative projects.
And Mr Humphries says the shared rooftop terrace is perfect for entertaining with impressive views.
There's even a communal veggie garden offering a touch of country living close to the city.
Mr Humphries says the new building has already seen impressive sales and expects it will be as popular as others within the precinct.
"All the previous stages have sold out and The Eveline is the next step," he shares.
"It represents our most premium residential offering to date within Moonee Valley Park.”
“This year also marks Hamton's 20th anniversary in development, so it's helping us build upon our reputation for delivering what we promise and ensuring effective execution."
He adds that with completion scheduled for 2029, buyers purchasing off the plan won't have to wait long – they can simply sit back and watch as the precinct continues to establish itself before they move into their dream home.
