A Gold Coast family has splashed $11.5m on a yet-to-be-built penthouse in a new Broadbeach tower before any advertising or public sales campaign launched. The two-level luxury apartment is in QNY’s $125m development Camilla, with construction set to start in October. Camilla will rise 25 levels in Broadbeach. The latest sale follows a string of off-the-plan penthouse deals including a Burleigh penthouse that sold off-the-plan for $30m earlier this year, surpassing the $24 million record set in 2023. Another penthouse deal worth up to $35m in Burleigh is also in the pipeline, with the transaction hinging on adding a custom pop-top level. Set on an east-facing corner at 162 Surf Pde, Camilla will rise 25 levels with views across the park and toward the ocean and Broadbeach skyline.
