Sonita and Gopal Ganda have sold their medieval castle in Leumeah.
Leumeah Castle, complete with moat and tower, has fetched $1.3m, having been listed through Devak Arutla and Jamie Bae of RE/MAX Prestige.

Photography was reportedly banned during inspections of the house.
There had been initial $1.5m guidance for the medieval-style offering with stone facade, turrets, gargoyles and arrowslits.

It has a patchwork of timber beams, stained glass and stonework.
It was built by Ron Farmer and his wife Joan in the 1970s.
Farmer had designed the medieval house to remind him of his native England.
It was bought by vendor Gopal and Sonita Ganda for $480,000 in 2014, when it took 256 days to find its buyer.
“I used to always tell my beautiful wife that she is my queen,” Gopal Ganda said after its purchase.

There is a moat.
“He always told me I was his Queen. I said to him ‘prove it’. So we did. He’s a bit of a romantic,” Sonita said.
It was initially listed in 2022 and was briefly listed as a rental earlier this year.
The four-bedroom, two-bathroom Dowling St stone castle was available at $1500 a week.
The couple have been regular attendees.
“The whole house, it’s like stepping into a story book,” she previously said.
PropTrack put the median price of houses in Leumeah at a record $991,000 after 117 sales in the last year, up 10 per cent annually.
