AGNT, the parent company of eXp Realty and NextHome, has a new CEO. On Thursday morning, AGNT founder Glenn Sanford announced his decision to step down as CEO, with eXp Realty CEO Leo Pareja taking over as CEO of AGNT. Sanford will remain chairman of AGNT’s board and will continue to work with the company in an advisory role. “For the first time in the history of the eXp and AGNT, we have the team that can take us forward to new places,” Sanford said from the stage of eXp Con 2026 in Salt Lake City. “I would not be doing this if we didn’t have the leadership team that we do.” Pareja told HousingWire that this felt like a natural progression for himself and Sanford. Pareja said he’s looking forward to leading AGNT through its current “digital transformation.” “We have been talking about this for the past few years,” Pareja said. “We’ve worked very closely together and our DNA is super similar.
