A Melbourne house connected to both the ABC comedy-drama Dog Park and the late SeaChange actor Tom Long has sold after being listed with a $4.3m-$4.5m range.

The Edwardian-era home in Clifton Hill served as the abode for a couple portrayed by actors Leon Ford and Brooke Satchwell in the Dog Park.
The final episode of the six-part series, also starring Celia Pacquola, aired on February 1, 2026.

A few days later, Long’s widow, Rebecca Fleming, put the residence on the market.
Long, aged 51, died from encephalitis in 2020 following a long battle with blood cancer.
He became a household name in Australia after playing a law clerk who loved to surf, Angus Kabiri, in the hit TV series SeaChange.
The cast of television show East of Everything included actors Richard Roxburgh, Susie Porter, Gia Carides and the late Tom Long.
The Clifton Hill house might be familiar to viewers of ABC’s Dog Park, as it was heavily featured in the show.

Long also appeared in TV’s Young Lions and East of Everything, in addition to movies The Book of Revelation, The Last of the Ryans, Heroes’ Mountain: The Thredbo Story, Black Jack: Ghosts, Doing Time for Patsy Cline, Do or Die, Risk, Joanne Lees: Murder in the Outback and Two Hands, the latter alongside actors Heath Ledger, Rose Byrne and Bryan Brown.

In 2015, Ms Fleming and Long purchased the house which they later renovated in a project led by interior designer Kim Kneipp.
The five-bedroom pad was scheduled to be auctioned on Saturday, March 1, but sold the day before for an undisclosed figure.
The home’s features include a country-style kitchen with European appliances, a living area with a bay window and mansard ceiling, and a green-tiled bathroom showcasing a claw foot bath tub and separate shower.
The kitchen looks out to the backyard, where there’s a sauna crafted from cedar and a separate studio.

French doors lead to a paved terrace and landscaped garden which contains a sauna, plus a separate studio also used for storage.
The upper storey has bedroom, ensuite and a balcony looking out to a green view.
