John Leonardi has been appointed CEO of the Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association (RPCRA) and the Florida Gulf Coast Multiple Listing Service (FGC MLS) following a nearly three month national search led by Brexus Solutions, the firm announced on Monday. The board-approved appointment is effective Oct. 26, 2026. Leonardi will succeed Sean O’Brien, who is stepping down after nine years leading the Fort Myers-based trade group and MLS, which serve real estate agents and MLS subscribers across Lee and Hendry counties in Southwest Florida, according to the announcement. RPCRA, with 9,400 members, is the largest trade association in Southwest Florida. Its CEO oversees two related but distinct operations: a Realtor association focused on governance, advocacy, professional standards and member value, and an MLS business responsible for data integrity, technology and subscriber service. Leonardi’s background Leonardi joins RPCRA and FGC MLS from Buffalo Niagara Realtors in Buffalo, New York, where he has served as CEO. He also concurrently led WNY Real Estate Information Services, that region’s multiple listing service, giving him direct experience running a dual association-MLS structure. “...
