It’s Jackie O’s quiet $30m way of securing her own future – regardless of what happened with her radio show with Kyle Sandilands.
And in light of their massive blow up and doubt over the KIIS FM staple’s future, it looks to be working out perfectly.
Even if Jackie O Henderson does walk away from her $10m a year job, this secret exit plan looks to have been put together with great thought and cunning.
And it’s something she might have been planning for a while now – her plan B if you will.

In a 2025 interview, which has resurfaced in light of their current fallout – Jackie O revealed she would be willing to leave her highly lucrative job behind if things didn’t feel right.
And the radio queen’s luxury $30m mansion in one of the most-sought after suburbs in Australia could be at the heart of it.
“ You would walk away from the show and the 10-year contract if things weren’t right?” Jackie O was asked in the 2025 interview.
The radio star replied, “ Yes, I would. I think the older you get … It’s important that you are staying true to yourself and that you enjoy what you do and it feels authentic.”
“I don’t ever wanna feel bound by this contract where I’m driven by money.
“I’ve never been driven by money in my career, and I always want to stay true to that.
“So if it doesn’t feel right at any stage, I would be prepared to walk away from that.”

As Sandilands used KIIS FM to spruik the $5m castle he has on the market, Jackie instead opted to quietly build her own piece of paradise.
Henderson is currently building a new home atop a Clovelly property she purchased for $13.25m in 2023.
The rebuild cost is about $5m.
Henderson made headlines in March 2023 when she bought the Clovelly home after it was revealed she paid $1.25m above the reserve at auction

Brick pillars and the initial floor foundation are in place, ready for the next construction stage. According to renders of the architectural plans, what looks like the bottom level is shaping up and will eventually become a gym space that opens up to a pool.
The block is in the ideal location to capture stunning, uninterrupted views over Gordons Bay.
Plans for the four-bedroom home were designed by architect Madeleine Blanchfield and Henderson reckons it will be “like you are in Italy on the Amalfi Coast” when complete.
The home could be worth as much as $30m when it is finished.
Jackie O made the purchase shortly after selling her previous home, a property in Woollahra, for $13m. The price was about $2m more than what she paid for it.

The radio pairing revealed there is a staggering amount to be earned in radio, having signed a 10-year contract that was reportedly worth more than $200m.
Although Henderson’s $100m dollar contract has now been terminated, ARN’s media statement states it has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.

News broke last night Jackie O has quit her radio partnership with long-time controversial co-host Kyle Sandilands.
Last week, KIIS FM shared a video of Sandilands’ home for sale on its Instagram page along with the segment of Sandilands discussing he bought the property about three-and-a-half years ago with “big plans to renovate it for a family home”.
“We’re never going to live there,” he said.
Sandilands paid $3m for the expansive property in the Hills District in Sydney’s North West in August 2022 with the intention to build a Hamptons-style family home.

The property had cost over $3m.
