Michael Haack has joined the board of Champion Homes Inc. as an independent director, the company announced, bringing the manufactured housing builder’s board to seven members, six of whom are independent. Haack’s appointment was effective Aug. 24, 2026. He will serve on the board’s compensation committee, according to the company announcement. Haack currently serves as president and CEO of Dallas-based Eagle Materials Inc., where he is also a director. Eagle Materials is a U.S. manufacturer of heavy construction products and light building materials, including Portland cement and gypsum wallboard used in residential, commercial and infrastructure projects nationwide. During his tenure at Eagle, Haack has led more than $1.6 billion in acquisitions, the company said.
