The Henley Beach character home’s online listing now shows it is under offer, days after its auction was called off just hours before it was due to go under the hammer. Its sale price has not been disclosed. It had a $1.8m price guide and went under offer within three weeks of hitting the market. Selling agent Thomas Crawford, of Crawford Doran, was contacted for comment. The property’s auction was scheduled to take place on the evening of August 20 but was cancelled just hours before as Mr Crawford said it would be “contracted in advance”. The property at 17 Anthony St was due to go to auction on August 20 but it was called off hours before. It was expected to sell prior to the time the auction was scheduled to take place.
