Originally built for a Sydney-based solicitor and high street merchant, Bangala was divided into flats in the 1960s before being transformed back into a single family home.
The current owners, Susan Hand and Ralph Suters, bought Bangala for $1.225m back in 2007 and took on the considerable task of restoring the historic house. They unravelled the years of significant changes to reveal original details while also reinstating missing elements.
