Three-time MasterChef contestant Laura Sharrad and her husband Max are selling their Henley Beach home. The auction scheduled for celebrity chef Laura Sharrad and her husband Max’s beachside home has been called off. Selling agent Thomas Crawford, of Crawford Doran, revealed the news just hours before it was due to go under the hammer today, stating it would be “contracted in advance”. “We will be calling for best and final offers ahead of today’s scheduled auction, and as such, there will no longer be an auction at 17 Anthony St, Henley Beach,” he said, “Based on the position of the interested parties and the nature of the offers currently being considered, we believe bringing the campaign to a conclusion prior to auction is firmly in the vendors’ best interests and provides the strongest opportunity to achieve the maximum possible result.” The property was due to go to auction on August 20 but it was called off hours before. It was expected to sell prior to the time the auction was scheduled to take place. The home hit the market earlier this month.
