Atlas VMS has acquired CloseClear.ai, an early-stage mortgage technology platform designed to continuously monitor active loan pipelines against live federal disaster data and identify potential GSE repurchase risk. The acquisition marks Atlas VMS’s second platform purchase following its 2025 acquisition of AIM-Port, an appraisal order management system that now serves as part of the operational core of the company’s valuation business. CloseClear.ai monitors loans for changing disaster exposure after the appraisal process has been completed. The platform matches loans against federally declared disaster areas at the ZIP and county levels and provides map-level precision where available, aligned with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines. Atlas said the technology addresses a risk that can change during the life of a mortgage transaction and may otherwise only be identified at closing. “CloseClear.ai closes a real gap for our lenders.
