Adam and Jolene went from a complete trade drought to a total trade deluge. After burning through two whole days frantically dialling every plasterer in the phone book, Adam suddenly found himself hosting a small convention on site — nine plasterers deep. “Our budget is out the window. It jumped out the window because the house was on fire,” Jolene sighed. Unfortunately, having nine guys on the payroll didn’t equal lightning speed. Instead, Adam and Jolene found themselves paying an army of tradies to move at a glacial pace, triggering a full-blown panic attack from Foreman Dan. Dan was equally stressed about Lisa and Rosco. Despite their desperate attempt to bounce back from last week’s unfinished disaster, the universe was once again plotting against them. Facing the grim reality of another incomplete room, Dan stepped in and staged an intervention, practically begging them to scrap their time-consuming lime plaster plans for a simple, quick coat of white paint.
