Prolific businesswoman Marcia Griffin is selling 135/1 Albert Rd, Melbourne.


Skincare guru and best-selling author Marcia Griffin has listed an apartment in Melbourne’s “Tower of Power” with a $1.6m-$1.7m price tag.

The 1995 Victorian Telstra Businesswoman of the Year is selling her investment property at 135/1 Albert Rd, in a residential complex nicknamed due the number of richlisters who have homes within it such as trucking magnate Lindsay Fox.

Following a career as a schoolteacher and research economist, Ms Griffin became the sole Australian salesperson of Japanese skincare company Pola in the 1980s.

She built it into a multimillion-dollar business across Australia and New Zealand, was named its local chief executive and won the Telstra accolade.

In the 1990s, she authored a book titled High Heeled Success which became a bestseller, sold her share in Pola and co-founded the skincare brand Griffin+row.

Ms Griffin has also served on several boards including at Melbourne Storm, Carpet Court, Queen Victoria Market and the Peninsula Hot Springs.

She offloaded her share in Griffin+row when her business partner, Yvonne Row, retired.

“It has been newly carpeted, repainted and has new tiles in the bathrooms,” Mr Delany said.

“It has always been well-tenanted, the building has always been in high demand among tenants but it’s mostly owner-occupiers now.”

Mr Delany said the building was close to Anzac train station and the Arts Centre Melbourne.

In 2025, he listed a Tower of Power penthouse belonging to businessman, property developer and Crown Casino founder Lloyd Williams which sold for $17.7m.

Mr Williams holds the record as the horse owner to have won the most Melbourne Cups, at seven trophies.
