Selena Gomez sells former bachelorette pad for $7.4m

Pop icon Selena Gomez has officially offloaded her sprawling Encino abode in Los Angeles for $7.4 million ($US5.399 million)—four months after listing the property and shortly after picking up a $48 million ($US35 million) marital mansion. The 34-year-old singer and actress purchased the six-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom dwelling for $6.7 million ($US4.89 million) in 2020, around three years before she began dating Benny Blanco, 38, whom she wed in September 2025, Realtor reports. However, after she and her husband snapped up a new, much larger Beverly Hills dwelling for $48 million ($US35 million) in February 2025, it seemed Gomez no longer needed her former bachelorette pad and sits on just under an acre. Gomez’s ownership of the dwelling was mentioned in the listing—which also noted that the property was formerly home to another music legend, Tom Petty, who had the home custom built in 1989 and owned it until 2017, when it was sold just a few months before his death.
