Despite the government’s changes to negative gearing in the federal budget and higher interest rates, investors are still active across Adelaide, with agents reporting strong – albeit subdued – activity and buyers switching up their investment strategies as new data reveals SA’s investment hotspots. According to REA Group data, the state’s most rented location is Roxby Downs, with a whopping 67.11 per cent of all properties being rented out. In second place, with 63.8 per cent of all properties investments is Adelaide city, while Elizabeth South, New Port and Elizabeth Grove rounding out the top five with 63.19 per cent, 59.73 per cent and 58.51 per cent respectively.
