Ron Barassi’s St Kilda time capsule home has been listed for sale. The St Kilda home AFL Legend Ron Barassi and wife Cheryl lived in for decades has hit the market as a time capsule where the larger than life footballer’s spirit can still be felt. Barassi is one of the greatest players and coaches the code has ever seen, with his 254-game on-field career including six VFL premiership appearances, four seasons as the captain of the Melbourne Demons and two Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott medals, as well as three selections for the All Australian team and being named Victorian team captain. After hanging up the boots he coached four more premiership sides in a 515-game career behind the play, and has been included in the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2001, and has Legend Status in the Australian Football Hall of Fame.
