Realtracs expands in Tennessee with RCAR and GSMAR

The River Counties Association of Realtors (RCAR) and the Great Smoky Mountains Association of Realtors (GSMAR) have selected Realtracs as their MLS technology partner, expanding the co-owned platform’s footprint in Tennessee and adding more than 1,700 real estate professionals to its network, according to an announcement on Monday. RCAR went live on Realtracs in August and GSMAR went live on Monday, according to the company announcement. Their addition brings the number of Realtor associations that co-own Realtracs LLC to eight and moves a combined 98,000 listing records onto the platform. Nashville-based Realtracs operates one of the nation’s largest independently developed MLS systems, serving more than 21,000 real estate professionals across the Southeast. Unlike many MLSs that license third-party software, Realtracs designs, develops and maintains its own technology stack, which it says allows faster response to user feedback and regulatory or market changes. “We’re excited to welcome RCAR and GSMAR to the Realtracs community,” Stuart White, president and CEO of Realtracs, said in the announcement. “Associations need more than an MLS.
