Phone runs off hook over agent’s ‘self deprecating’ billboard

The billboard at Wynnum station in Brisbane has been a hit online. Real estate agent David Pearce says the phone has been running off the hook since a railway station billboard advising: “We chose David because we hated him the least” started going viral. And he’s not sure to what extent it will boost his spring listings in the challenged market — “the phone was mostly ringing with people calling about the billboard rather than houses” — though he was called in by a vendor this week after it started getting some mileage online on Monday night.
