OriginPoint has hired Austin Reed as a producing regional manager. Reed, who comes from CrossCountry Mortgage, has 13 years of experience in the mortgage industry and will serve borrowers across Greater New England and the Northeast. His team also does business in Georgia, Florida, California, Illinois and Michigan. Reed holds a degree in economics and finance. His lending experience includes conventional, Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), jumbo, first-time homebuyer and investment property financing. According to the HousingWire Mortgage Rankings, Reed produced a total volume of $109.5 million in 2025 across 129 units.
