A Curl Curl home known to some as The Boat House has changed hands.

An incredible home called The Boat House has sold, fetching within its adjusted $10.5m to $11.5m price guide.

The landmark residence, designed by MHDP Architects, is opposite Curl Curl Beach at 60 Carrington Pde and was listed through Christie’s International.

Known locally as the The Longboard, it had first hit market with $12m to $13m expectations in February.

Set opposite Curl Curl Beach, the near-new four-level Carrington Pde home was built after Rob Tucker bought the site for $3.26m in 2017.

The Carrington Pde home in Curl Curl was originally listed with a guide of about $12m.

The near new four-level stunner has a strikingly contemporary facade and panoramic views from almost every room.

Among its attractions are a living room opening to an infinity pool and relaxation deck with a retractable TV.

There’s also a rooftop terrace with the insane ocean outlook.

Owner Rob Tucker, a born and bred Manly local grew up surfing at Curl Curl and when the opportunity arose to buy the site in 2017 — for $3.26m according to title records — he tasked Mark Hurcum of MHDP Architects to design the ultimate home with views of the surf and annual whale migrations.

The top of the house was reported to remind many locals of a longboard.

Selling agent Shane Clinton told The Mosman Daily prior to the sale that the home was one of a kind.

“It’s a spectacular build, right opposite the surf club; it’s one of the very few with such a unique position,” Mr Clinton said.

“Within hours of listing it, we saw it was getting incredible coverage on social media.”

The modern beach house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms with underfloor heating and brushed nickel finishes and two powder rooms.

The home comes with amazing Curl Curl views.

There is a long list of bonus features including integrated smart home automation, a lift, a cinema room with a Samsung 98-inch TV, and a 726-bottle wine cellar.

There is even a saltwater fish tank that has been maintained by a marine biologist, along with a secure basement garage with a turntable ensuring space for up to four cars.
