Nicolas Cage’s $16m mansion hit by massive sinkhole

Nicolas Cage’s $16m Malibu mansion is literally sinking into the ocean, with photos revealing a massive crater where his driveway used to be. The collapse led to asphalt, concrete and even a portable toilet tumbling into a 30ft-by-30ft hole leading to the actor’s garage, Page Six reports. Emergency crews rushed to the beachfront property following reports of a suspected gas main break, only to discover the chaotic destruction. The collapse was triggered by severe coastal erosion after heavy rain and high surf battered the Southern California coastline. Firefighters marked off the disaster area with orange safety cones while gas company staff worked to restore the severed main. No injuries were reported, and no evacuations were ordered despite the dramatic damage.
