“Members Only: Palm Beach” star Ro-mina Ustayev has opened the doors to her lavish Florida home—revealing the striking space where she brings her creative visions to life.

The fashion designer and mother of three rose to fame on the Netflix reality series, which follows Ro-mina, as well as Taja Abitbol, Rosalyn Yellin, Maria Cozamanis, and Hilary Musser as they navigate Palm Beach’s ultraglam social scene.

In the first season of the show, the women introduced Netflix viewers to the most lavish aspects of their lives, offering a glimpse into what it really means to operate within the uppermost echelons of high society.

Ustayev quickly emerged as a fan favorite thanks to her candid personality and bold sense of style that earned her the reputation of being “Palm Beach’s Kim Kardashian.”

That heady lifestyle continues on her social media accounts, where Ustayev is regularly seen frequenting some of Palm Beach's most sought-after venues—including President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort—and rubbing shoulders with some of the world's wealthiest personalities.

Even when she isn't dazzling with her fashions at these high-profile events, Ustayev's world revolves around her love of fashion and the creative arts, a passion that she was able to exercise in a whole new way inside her custom-built Florida mansion, which she and her husband, Omega Home Builders founder Roman Ovrutsky, completed in 2022.

Now, in the latest installment of Celebrity Sanctuary, Ustayev opens up one of her favorite—and most creative spaces—inside that home: her piano room, the place where she seeks the ultimate in inspiration for her work in fashion, music, and design.

Ustayev regularly frequents some of Palm Beach's most sought-after venues, including President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago. But when she isn't wining and dining with the social elite, she's soaking up some private time at her custom-built mansion.Netflix

We bought the land in 2020 and it took two years to build it, so we moved into it in 2022. It's almost 6,000 square feet, and we have five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

The piano room is one of my favorite rooms. I have a lot of favorite rooms in this house. But, this room always makes me feel good.

My main colors are always white, black, and gold. I always have gray walls, I like a gray wall, I don’t like a beige wall.

But this room is a bit more eclectic and crazy. I didn’t want a dining room. I used my dining room in my Philadelphia house maybe, like, twice in the six years that I was there.

So, I transformed the dining space into the piano room, which I wanted to be very funky, very, like, maximalism. I love maximalism. I love to combine different patterns, different colors, different textures together, and make it look somehow cohesive. I love to make the crazy look calm.

Although it's called the piano room, I don't play the piano. I was trying to learn. … I just don’t have enough hours in a day to, like, do everything I want to do.

But when I’m trying to find motivation and creativity, I go to that room. I’m inspired by all the senses. I need the sound and the lights in order for me to be 100% in my zone.

My entire house inspires me. I’ve created that space all over my house, but the piano room is the most colorful and fun.

I designed my whole house. When I met my husband, he was already in real estate and I was selling my home care business, and he was using staging companies to stage his homes for sale, and I hated what they were doing. I knew I could do it better.

So, I ended up opening a staging company and bought furniture, accessories, and art. I had a whole warehouse full of stuff.

Eventually, other companies started hiring me. People started hiring me for design. I kind of fell into the interior design space, and I really enjoy it.

My house is both an entertaining space and unwinding area, it depends on the day. Some people have said my home looks like a club, but that is my calming place. I find peace in the wilderness with all the colors.

I don’t need beige walls, and a beige couch, that’s not where I find peace.

I don’t believe in forever in anything. You can always scale up and move on to bigger and better things.

My dream is to live on the water. I want a view that includes the water, and the reflection of the water. I’m very sensory, so I want to always look at something beautiful.

I really focus on today. Today I could be working on music, tomorrow I could be working on fashion. I just take it day by day.

I thrive when I’m busy. I thrive at multitasking.

Ustayev notes that her life is much the same as it was before she started filming the Netflix series—but says she couldn't be happier than she is when she's in front of the cameras. Netflix

Honestly, I don’t see much of a difference of before and after the show. This has always been my life. I’ve always been really busy.

I’ve been working on my music for 11, 12 years, then I started working on my fashion, my life has always been super fulfilling, but I also create that energy and create that space.

I’ve always wanted a reality show. I always thought that it would be the perfect gateway for my music and my fashion.

I definitely jumped at the opportunity. It was exactly my life at the time anyway.

I think that Florida changed a lot in the last five, six years, a lot of younger people are flocking towards this area … there’s a lot of development, a lot of new businesses, a lot of new money.

I feel like life is so much more full here in Florida than it was in Philadelphia.

My highs of the season were definitely my birthday party, singing, and having my fashion show, my fashion show was gorgeous.

My low was definitely having to deal with so much hate, and judgment, being judged for who I am, what I wear, what I do, my culture.

When they started attacking my culture, that’s when I stood my ground. If I can help other people decide to chase their dreams, my life will be fulfilled.

Of course I would come back for another season, I love filming and being in front of the camera, I can do that all day long. I’m upset we’re not filming right now, why are the cameras not here?

There’s definitely enough for season 2, 3, and 4 at this point.
