Sean ‘Showtime’ Thompson is possibly Victoria’s only pro-wrestler and property manager, after Covid lockdowns led him to follow a child-hood dream. Melbourne lockdowns might have put a chokehold on the city, but for Sean Thompson it was the launch pad to rekindle a childhood dream of becoming a professional wrestler. The 27-year-old moved to the city from Newcastle just in time to get told top stay home, but after years of mixed martial arts training the extra time to think made him realise he didn’t want to “live a life of regrets”.
