MBA, FirstHome IQ partner to launch MBA Homebase

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), in partnership with FirstHome IQ, on Monday announced the launch of MBA Homebase, a professional development platform designed to help mortgage loan officers build their businesses, strengthen borrower relationships and engage in industry advocacy. The initiative was announced at the MBA’s 2026 Annual Conference and Expo. The platform will offer loan officers access to education, coaching, professional networking, market insights and opportunities to participate in the MBA’s advocacy efforts. MBA Homebase is open to loan officers across all lenders and origination channels, regardless of whether their employers are MBA members. The initiative is being led by Owen Lee, CEO of Success Mortgage Partners and the MBA’s 2027 chairman. Lee said the platform addresses a gap in the association’s support for loan officers’ professional development. “By investing in loan officers, we’re investing in better outcomes for the consumers and communities they serve,” Lee said.
