Mattamy Homes will transition leadership of its U.S. business, with Chief Executive Officer Keith Bass set to retire and Chief Operating Officer Chris Lindhorst stepping into the CEO role, the builder announced Thursday. Bass, the CEO of Mattamy Homes U.S. since 2020, will retire effective Sept. 1, 2026, according to the company’s announcement. Lindhorst, who joined Mattamy as U.S. COO in February 2026, will succeed him as CEO of the U.S. operations. During Bass’s six-year tenure, Mattamy’s U.S. segment posted record revenues, earnings and community counts while navigating pandemic-era demand swings, rapid rate hikes and shifting affordability, the company said. Mattamy Homes, based in Toronto, maintains a U.S. corporate headquarters in Florida. Tampa-based.
