MasterChef’s Mosman’s home returns to market

Three years ago the food scientist known for his hot Indian curries sold two Mosman homes to move to Nowra. Then later that year he bought back into Mosman purchasing a Federation mansion for $15.25m. Now that mansion, called Cambria, is back on the market with reports he has quietly bought another large home in the area for a big discount. Agent Piers van Hamburg, of Di Jones Neutral Bay, said Jimmy and his wife Eloise have five children, and it occurred to them that long-term four bedrooms wasn’t going to be big enough for them. He is now auctioning the Balmoral Slopes home with a guide of $12m – a far cry from the $17m paid by the previous owners, Potentia Capital co-founder Andrew Grey and his wife Emma, who bought in July 2022 and relisted seven months later having never moved in.
