Longbridge Financial, one of the nation’s leading reverse mortgage lenders, on Thursday announced the rollout of its Reverse Analytics Market Platform (RAMP), a free dashboard tool for mortgage brokers that offers insights into Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) originations. Dan Ribler, the company’s vice president of capital markets and strategy, told HousingWire‘s Reverse Mortgage Daily in an interview that Longbridge considers RAMP to be a solution to the “information vacuum” that many reverse mortgage professionals contend with. The platform relies on publicly available HECM data through the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) but is structured in a digestible format and requires no financial commitment on the part of its approved broker partners. Ribler led the company’s creation and release of RAMP, which he said took roughly two months to build out and review for marketing and compliance functions.
