Liquidators selling luxury Newtown home linked to alleged fraud case

9 Pilrig Ave, Newtown is on the market for $3.65m to $3.85m. A luxury Newtown home built by a late Geelong businessman at the centre of an alleged multimillion-dollar fraud has been listed for sale. Keith Roger Greenwood, who died suddenly last October, is named as the proprietor of the $3.65m to $3.85m residence at 9 Pilrig Ave. Mr Greenwood was a subject of a police investigation into the alleged fraud of Geelong disability charity GenU, but was released without charge following his arrest in August last year. He is facing 309 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception relating to the alleged GenU fraud. Mr Nguyen also has a caveat on the Newtown property and is understood to have previously lived there. Karingal St Laurence Ltd, which operates as GenU, has its own caveat on the Pilrig Ave property.
