Jason Finch named president of Fischer Homes

Kentucky-based Fischer Homes has appointed longtime executive Jason Finch as its new president, the company announced on Wednesday. The change separates the president and chief operating officer positions, part of a broader effort to align leadership with the company’s expansion plans. Jay Smith will remain chief operating officer, a role he has held since 2023. As president, Finch will oversee execution of the company’s homebuilding strategy across its footprint. Finch joined Fischer Homes in 2013 and has held roles in sales, division operations and regional leadership. Most recently, he served as region president for the South Region, where he focused on improving performance, building leadership capabilities and driving operational consistency across several markets. “Jason has consistently demonstrated the leadership, business judgment and ability to develop strong teams that this role requires,” said Tim McMahon, CEO of The Fischer Group. “He understands how to turn strategy into results while keeping people at the center of the business.
