This Kew home commands a strong street presence through its sculptural concrete form and contemporary architecture. Completed two years ago, the design at 82 Cecil St, Kew was led by MC Architects, built by LHG Build, with a clear brief from the vendors to create a private escape: “Somewhere that brought a little of that relaxed, holiday feeling into everyday life. At the same time, we wanted it to feel very connected to the garden, with the architecture and landscape working together rather than feeling like separate spaces,” the vendor explains. “A big part of the design was also about bringing the outside in.
