Inside big Kyle and Jackie O property moves as spat continues

Jackie O was left in tears after the on-air spat with Kyle Sandilands.

Australian radio stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson have continued making big money property plays behind the scenes despite the public on-air blow-up that has called their future into question.

The huge financial moves come amid Henderson’s ongoing absence from the Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS after Sandilands publicly berated her last month over her belief in astrology.

Sandilands slammed Henderson as being “off with the fairies” and said everyone at KIIS had been talking about her slip in performance. Henderson hasn’t been seen since the spat and KIIS was forced to air re-runs last week after Sandilands also called in sick.

Sandilands and Henderson join the ARN-owned KIIS in 2014 when they made the lucrative move from 2DayFM. They are the biggest paid radio stars in Australia following their 2023 deal which was worth a massive $200 million over 10 years.

Happier times… The future of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O working together has been called into question.

Despite regularly clocking in as the top-rated breakfast show in monthly ratings, industry sources are now claiming tensions between the duo have been rising for the last 12 months.

“She has had a taste of being a socialite, she is the highest paid media figure in Australia, and she has been spending time with some very successful women who have taught her she doesn’t need Kyle to be successful,” a source told The Sunday Telegraph.

As speculation swirls around the duo’s future, they are continuing to reap the rewards of their success in the Australian property market.

JACKIE O

While her radio life falls apart, Henderson’s home life continues to come together.

The controversial $5 million construction of her Sydney mega mansion is well and truly underway, photos taken in late 2025 revealed.

Henderson purchased the Clovelly block for $13.2m in March 2023, and since knocking down the previous property to make way for a luxury mansion with a pool, the $5m home rebuild has caused a stir in the Sydney eastern suburbs neighbourhood.

Exclusive pictures obtained by News Corp Australia revealed the epic construction site underway in the tight Clovelly cul-de-sac.

The images capture no sign of the previous house, that has now been completely demolished. The block is now filled with construction equipment and scaffolding, with the foundation laid and the bottom half of the home beginning to take shape.

Brick pillars and the initial floor foundation are in place, ready for the next construction stage. According to renders of the architectural plans, what looks like the bottom level is shaping up and will eventually become a gym space that opens up to a pool.

The block is in the ideal location to capture stunning, uninterrupted views over Gordons Bay.

Plans for the four-bedroom home were designed by architect Madeleine Blanchfield and Henderson reckons it will be “like you are in Italy on the Amalfi Coast” when complete.

Local agents expect the home will be worth $25m or more once complete.

Jackie O’s home rebuild made headlines in April when the knockdown and construction kicked off, with the Randwick City Council confirming it had received multiple complaints from locals.

Complaints included “horrendous noise,” increased traffic, large trucks and the inclusion of a site office.

KYLE SANDILANDS

The fractured relationship with Henderson hasn’t stopped Sandilands from spruiking the sale of his own Syndey mansion.

KIIS FM has also been promoting the sale of the Glenorie property on its Instagram page, with Sandilands saying he bought the home about three-and-a-half years ago with big plans to renovate it for his family.

The radio star paid $3m for the expansive property in the Hills District in Sydney’s North West in August 2022 with the intention to build a Hamptons-style family home.

It is now being been brought to market by Carolyn Wheatley Principal at Belle Property Dural. who is guiding $5.7m to $5.9m.

Sandilands settled on the 9580 sqm acreage in Glenorie which adjoins bushland, just weeks before his then-fiancee now wife Tegan Kynaston give birth to the couple’s first child, Otto.

The home has changed significantly since it was last up for grabs as a “property [that] really does need to be seen to be believed”.
