A Victorian family of six has won this $13.75m Coolangatta sub-penthouse. Picture: Supplied An Aussie family are experiencing how the other half lives after winning a $14m Gold Coast penthouse, but they are choosing to sell their windfall to set their family up for life. Michelle, Tim and their four children had only recently returned from two years of touring Australia in a caravan when they got the phone call from Dream Home Art Union. “It was unbelievable,” Michelle said. “When Ben (from Dream Home) called, he said we’d won gold to start with, and I was flabbergasted by that. “Then he said we’d won this $13.75m apartment and it blew our minds.” Tickets for the lottery cost $5 each and the couple had a standing subscription of $50 a month.
