Hollywood star Hugh Jackman is offering to help a few lucky people to snag a month of free rent — even as his own lavish $40 million ($US29 million) New York City apartment remains up for grabs. The 57-year-old “Wolverine” star and Global Citizen ambassador joined Bilt founder Ankur Jain for the company’s latest Rent Free game show, which challenges celebrities to perform to the best of their ability in order to give as many of its members a free month of rent as possible, Realtor reports. Jackman’s collaboration comes as he prepares to host the Global Citizen Festival on Central Park’s Great Lawn on September 26, where some 60,000 attendees are expected to gather in support of the organisation’s efforts to combat extreme poverty.
