California-based lender HomeXpress Mortgage Corp. announced Thursday that it has launched on the ARIVE platform, allowing approved brokers to access HomeXpress products and pricing on ARIVE’s loan origination system.

HomeXpress is wholesale lender that specializes in nonqualified mortgages (non-QMs) and loans for real estate investors. The company said in a press release that the integration aims to give brokers the ability to “evaluate loan options and pricing without leaving the workflow they already use to run their business.”

HomeXpress and ARIVE explained that the decision to partner was based on “strong overlap between the two companies’ broker communities.” About one-third of HomeXpress’s active broker partners already operate on ARIVE. Brokers who are approved to do business with HomeXpress can access products and pricing within ARIVE now.

“Brokers want efficiency and optionality, and they want to work with lenders inside the systems they trust,” Kyle Walker, president and CEO of HomeXpress Mortgage, said in a statement. “Launching on ARIVE allows us to integrate directly into the platforms brokers rely on every day, expanding access to the non-QM and investor loan solutions HomeXpress is known for.”

ARIVE said the addition of HomeXpress to its platform will strengthen its offerings of non-QM and investor loans.

“HomeXpress is a strong fit for the ARIVE platform and for the brokers who rely on us every day,” said Harish Tejwani, CEO of ARIVE. “They bring depth, speed and hands-on expertise in non-QM and investor lending. This launch gives brokers more choice and reinforces our commitment to partnering with lenders who prioritize broker success.”

HomeXpress has multiple loan programs that target non-QM and investor scenarios:

  • CoreX, a flexible non-QM program for borrowers with alternative income documentation or credit challenges
  • PrimeX, a non-QM program for borrowers who narrowly miss agency parameters or require higher loan amounts
  • InvestorX, a debt-service-coverage ratio (DSCR) program for small and midsized real estate investors, including those who target short-term rental properties

HomeXpress is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chimera Investment Corp., which specializes in originations, investments and management of residential real estate assets. According to Modex data, HomeXpress has 15 licensed loan officers and did $1.47 billion in volume across 3,630 loans in the past year.
