The Bondi Beach runner-up apartment in the first season of The Block on Channel 9 has been pulled from auction.


The Bondi Beach runner-up apartment in the first season of The Block on Channel 9 was pulled auction eve from its scheduled weekend auction.

It has since been given a $1.8m asking price for the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment that was listed by vendor Thomas Hull with a pre-auction $1.7m price guide.

The top-floor Roscoe St space had been renovated by Paul and Kylie Ingram in 2003 when it sold for $747,000.

They made $152,000 profit above the reserve price of $595,000 for each.

It next sold in 2009 for $765,150.

Hull paid $1,415,000 in 2019 for the apartment, which now comes with concept plans to add a third bedroom in the roof space.

Plumber Paul Ingram and travel representative Kylie Ingram, who were required to work their day jobs through The Block renovations, finished second to Adam Thorn and Fiona Mills, who won the renovation contest when their downstairs apartment fetched $751,000.

There was a $100,000 first prize.
