Michael Neary and Michael James bought the property three years ago after admiring it from afar.
“We already lived in Palm Beach. We used to walk past and just loved the architecture of the building as it’s a bit urban and edgy,” Mr Neary said.
“There had been a bit of talk where we’d say, ‘one day we’ll live in that building’ then the opportunity came up and it’s been fantastic.”

It includes panoramic views.
And sunrises you will never get sick of.
Located on Twenty Third Ave, the apartment looks directly out over the ocean and offers sensational vistas from both levels.
“We have the amazing view down Palm Beach to the Alley, Elephant Rock and down to Kirra and Coolangatta,” Mr Neary said
“And if you’re in the lounge downstairs, you can see up to Burleigh Headland and the Gold Coast city skyline rising out of the ocean.”

The rooftop pool.
The apartment’s eastern aspect allows for spectacular sunrises each morning, while the layout and rooftop terrace make the property ideal for entertaining.
“We’ve had quite a few nice parties and barbecues on the rooftop, and the great thing is it’s so private but has fantastic views, especially at this time of year when you can see the whales come past,” Mr Neary said.
“And then of course there’s the pool with a view, which feels a bit like you’re on a cruise ship high above the ocean.”

The kitchen,
The rooftop terrace also includes a powder room, shower, and outdoor kitchen complete with sink and refrigerator.
“You can go upstairs and stay upstairs, so it’s lovely from that perspective,” Mr Neary said. “A lot of thought has gone into the liveability of the property.”
That functionality and comfort continue on the lower level where the living spaces connect with the wraparound balcony via stacker doors, and the kitchen boasts a butler’s pantry.

Each of the bedrooms is ensuited, while the master enjoys ocean vistas and comes complete with an ensuite that also has views of the water. “You can even see the ocean and watch whales from the shower,” Mr Neary said.
With herringbone flooring, Carrara marble benches and warm timber tones, the apartment has a contemporary coastal feel.
“I love the marble finishes in the kitchen that are carried through to the living room and bathroom,” Mr Neary said.
“And the parquetry floors are lovely to walk on, year-round.”
Relax on the rooftop.
The residence is one of only 15 apartments in the Pacific building.
The apartment also features two secure car spaces plus storage, and access to shared amenities including a heated swimming pool, sun deck, sauna, and alfresco barbecue terrace.
Meanwhile, the residence is one of only 15 apartments in the boutique complex, which was completed in 2020, and the building is located on the northern end of Palm Beach within easy walking distance of shops, cafes, parks, and walkways.
“There’s a real sense of community in Palm Beach,” Mr Neary said.
“The people are just really nice and the beaches aren’t overcrowded.”
The Pacific Palm Beach penthouse is listed with Troy Dowker and James Roberts of
Kollosche and set to go to auction on August 7.
